MacKellar partners with large infrastructure companies to deliver civil earthmoving projects. We are proud of our earthworks and ability to provide accurate profiled finishes and meet specifications for road construction and other applications - such as execution of highways, runways and motorways, through to railways and service roads.

From drilling and blasting operations, loading and haulage of materials, to grading, on-site stabilizing and even materials processing, we can do it all.

Dams and Levee Banks

Haul road construction and maintenance

With many years of experience in haul road and construction maintenance, MacKellar is well placed to offer clients an efficient and cost-effective solution for all road and construction works. We can provide services to prepare, build and maintain all sizes of haul roads for mining equipment, civil equipment or light vehicles.

Maintenance Services

MacKellar Group provides a full range of mechanical rebuild services for all mining and construction equipment.

Mechanical workshops have been set up on site at each of our long term contracts and our Central Queensland facility offers overhead and mobile cranes, sandblasting and painting, component rebuilds, and self-contained accommodation for up to 12 tradespeople

Our Blackwater Workshop Facility also includes 1,200 square metres under roof and a large inventory of parts and components and employs around 60 full time staff including diesel fitters, auto electricians, painters and boilermakers.

This combination of Mechanical and ancillary Support Services allows us to offer full rebuild services to mining clients in the region without huge transport, mobilisation and demobilisation costs.

Stockpile Management

MacKellar has a long history of stockpile management and an impeccable safety and production record to match. We work with our clients to achieve the optimum level of service required to meet the demands of road and rail freight logistics. Some of our projects have been running for the last 30 years continuously.

Earthmoving Services for Mining

We have an extensive fleet of plant and equipment available for any project from dry hire to wet hire (with or without personnel). From full contract mining, including pre-strip, drill and blast and mining; MacKellar can deliver.
