WESTERN PLANT HIRE ACQUISITION

In 2021 we announced the acquisition of Western Australian plant hire and maintenance business Western Plant Hire (WPH).

Not only has the partnership supported WPH's growth and increased capability, it also allows MacKellar to continue to expand into new territories with workshop and support services South of Perth and in remote Western Australia (WA).

It also provides an excellent growth platform for existing WA relationships and retains key management with over 20 years experience.

We are impressed by their indigenous joint venture partnerships operating companies within WPH in both Pillara and Goldfield areas.

Western Plant Hire has over 20 years of experience in WA, with 120 machines in WA to date. Their excellent safety performance and core experience in Gold mining fleet makes them a big asset to MacKellar.
